Finding Services For Your Child

Getting Started

Get help early. If you have concerns about your child’s behavior or emotions, talk to your child’s doctors, teachers, and counselors. Ask them to help identify the problem and find resources that will help.

Explore all options to meet your child’s and your family’s needs. Check your library, the health department, the social service section of the telephone book, the Internet, and the resource centers of family-run organizations.
